I am sorry, this is the first time I looked at a Destroy and Revolution chapter, but after each page, I felt like I was wearing someone else's glasses and got kind of dizzy. Is this the normal artwork of the series? Maybe the problem is all those gray patterns...
I can send you raws if you want to take a look. They are magazine raws and as such are cleaned with heavy reliance on Topaz Filters. In this case, I am no expert cleaner, so I just use an action that automates most of the process.
But yes, this author has a peculiar art style. Kabuto used to say that what makes DxR a hard series to redraw is that the line art itself seems to incorporate patterns into it. This is particularly true of scenes that happen in Oneness.
Fortunately, there aren't that many redraws in the series as a whole. Next chapter, for example, has none.
Yeah… I often say in our recruitment ads that Death Toll has inadvertently specialised in hard to redraw series. Ouro and Sprite are among the hardest series I know, and God, you bastard… and DxR are also above average difficulty.
And don't worry, I didn't take your comment as criticism. I was just wondering whether the cleaning action needed adjustment to improve final quality, but I don't think it's the case.
